Throughout the last several years, I have seen dramatic changes in weather, here in my hometown. With the consistent construction, less trees yearly, and growing population, the environment has changed for the worse. As I drive down the typical dreadful busy streets I see more signs that appear to be similar to tsunami. The higher winds, and varied weather temps. All the trees falling devastating those that face the wrath of the storm. A rising number in accidents. What will it take? When will society come together? We need to save ourselves! We are the ones AT RISK!!!!! We are only hurting ourselves. My Pops told me one time that “you can't help somebody that doesn't want to help themselves”. Knowing this fact, I have to cry out to everybody and ask, ARE YOU DOING THE RIGHT THING EVERYDAY, FOR NOT ONLY YOURSELF, BUT THOSE AROUND YOU? The old saying everybody knows “ one person, can make a difference”, this is true! Think, if YOU help, and make the RIGHT choice EVERYDAY, the number of people in America will make an impact far greater then imagined.
THINK!!! www.blogactionday.org THINK!!! Our children have futures. That future is your future. Today's children are tomorrow's today. People need to take a moment to think about that. With the undoubtedly dramatic changes in weather, society has to realize we are killing ourselves. For those that have a religious background, surely that should open your eyes. Suicide, obviously not acceptable. Those that don't smoke, imagine that you had the same complications as a smoker. With the changes, breathing is becoming more difficult for more people, also more people are being diagnosed with asthma. The streets are becoming more crowded with garbage daily. I can only keep asking “WHAT WILL IT TAKE”?
Simple easy steps to take to make a huge impact:
Change the most frequently used lights in the house to the energy efficient lights.
Everybody can contribute by recycling. By utilizing your recycle, as well as green waste, along with, taking your cans and bottles in to get a few extra dollars in your pocket isn't too much to ask.
Keeping the vehicles we drive daily maintained, is more efficient.
By doing just these 3 simple things on a daily basis,
ALL OF YOU, will make a huge difference for yourself and our children.
